On the 18th of October, Dr. Mary Papaschinopoulou had the honour of attending the reception held at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the independence of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The event showcased the traditions and rich heritage of the Nigerian nation through cultural elements such as traditional dresses and colours, cuisine and music.
Dr. Papaschinopoulou had the privilege of being received by Mr. Patricius UJAGBOR, Chargé d’Affaires of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the Embassy of Greece, who briefly touched on the economic maritime relations between Nigeria and Greece.
Nigeria’s strategic location on the Gulf of Guinea, a vital artery for global hashtag#shipping, resonates with Greece’s illustrious maritime heritage and global leadership in shipping and MARDIPLO’s expertise in maritime hashtag#diplomacy. This synergy provides a unique opportunity for innovative partnerships and cooperation in the maritime sector.
