On 26 May, Dr. Mary Papaschinopoulou was honoured to visit the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Athens, where she met with Dr. Amjd Elyas Moosa, Chargé d’Affaires of Sudan to the Hellenic Republic.
In today’s complex global maritime environment, marked by shifting alliances, constant disruptions and contested waters, Sudan’s maritime positioning presents both challenges and opportunities for security and cooperation within the maritime sector.
During the meeting, Dr. Moosa expressed great interest in MARDIPLO’s innovative approach to maritime corporate diplomacy and its key objectives, namely the resolution of commercial disputes and business development in the maritime sector. The meeting also covered MARDIPLO’s Blue Diplomacy Training Programme and its added value for the Sudanese diplomatic community.
