On April 3rd, Dr. Mary Papaschinopoulou met with H.E. Mr. Paulo Roberto Caminha de Castilhos França, Ambassador of Brazil to Greece, at the Embassy’s premises in Athens.
During their discussion, Dr. Papaschinopoulou mentioned her recent acquaintance with Lieutenant Colonel Carla Lyrio Martins of the Brazilian Air Force, Commander of the Escola Superior de Defesa (hashtagESD), and the potential for academic collaboration in hashtagMaritimeDiplomacy in the context of the current hashtaggeopolitical and hashtaggeoeconomic environment.
The meeting also highlighted the longstanding and growing importance of maritime cooperation between hashtagBrazil and hashtagGreece. Both countries emphasized the importance of fostering dialogue and strengthening ties between their maritime industries, especially at the next hashtagPosidonia and during an upcoming visit of a Brazilian maritime industry delegation to Athens.
