MARDIPLO MEETS WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF TUNISIA TO THE HELLENIC REPUBLIC

On 3 June, Dr Mary Papaschinopoulou, Founding Partner and Managing Director of MARDIPLO S.A., had the honour of meeting H.E. Mrs Souad Trabelsi, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia, at the Embassy in Athens.

The discussion centred on the importance of the Blue Economy, which is worth more than a trillion globally, and the need for a comprehensive maritime vision and agenda to ensure Tunisia’s path to growth and prosperity.

The meeting also explored a concrete avenue of cooperation: MARDIPLO Academy’s Blue Diplomacy Training Programme. This tailored initiative is designed to equip future diplomats and decision-makers with the tools and skills to understand the Blue Economy, interact with commercial maritime stakeholders, and promote the Tunisian maritime sector internationally.
