MARDIPLO MEETS WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA TO THE HELLENIC REPUBLIC

On June 10th, Dr. Mary Papaschinopoulou, Founding Partner and Managing Director of MARDIPLO SA, had the honour of meeting with H.E. Mr. Juseong Lim, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Hellenic Republic, at the Embassy premises.

The conversation centered on South Korea’s pivotal role as a global maritime powerhouse, home to some of the world’s largest shipbuilding companies and busiest ports, and a strategic player in international trade and maritime security.

In this context, Maritime Corporate Diplomacy, a unique service introduced by MARDIPLO to the maritime industry, was discussed as a tool for the effective resolution of complex and protracted commercial maritime disputes between maritime corporate actors and government stakeholders worldwide. In light of the challenges posed by emerging global trends, our approach offers a novel solution that integrates diplomacy and shipping, while ensuring cost, time, and reputation savings.

We were also pleased to present MARDIPLO’s Blue Corporate Diplomacy Training Programme, which has been developed specifically for diplomats and government officials. This programme addresses the evolving challenges and opportunities presented to diplomats in the context of the increasing significance of the maritime industry.
