MARDIPLO MEETS WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA TO THE HELLENIC REPUBLIC

On September 2, 2025, Dr. Mary Papaschinopoulou, Founding Partner and Managing Director of MARDIPLO S.A. had the honour of meeting with Mr. Zhang TongXu, First Secretary and Transport Attaché of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to the Hellenic Republic, at the Embassy premises in Athens.

The meeting focused on China’s forward‑looking strategy for sustainable maritime development, the cooperation between China and Greece in the maritime sector and the EU’s pending legislation on ports.

In this context, the concept of Maritime Corporate Diplomacy—a pioneering service introduced by MARDIPLO to the global maritime industry—was discussed as a strategic tool for the effective resolution of complex and protracted commercial maritime disputes between corporate maritime actors and government stakeholders worldwide.

We were also pleased to present MARDIPLO’s Maritime Corporate Diplomacy Training Programme, developed specifically for diplomats and government officials.
