On 19 March, Dr Mary Papaschinopoulou attended the celebration of Pakistan’s National Day at the Divani Caravel Hotel.
Dr. Shezra Mansab Ali Khan Kharal, a Pakistani politician from Punjab and Member of the National Assembly, was one of the distinguished guests. Dr Kamran was in Athens for the annual Summit of Women Political Leaders (WPL), which aims to increase the number and influence of women in political leadership roles globally.
During their discussion, Dr. Shezra and Dr. Mary explored the impact of women in politics and diplomacy, and also discussed Blue Diplomacy, an area in which MARDIPLO is leading and innovating.
