On September 27th Dr. Mary Papaschinopoulou, Director of MARDIPLO SA, attended the event “Greece – Egypt: Business and Investment Opportunities”, hosted by the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Greece and the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).
During the event, the numerous business opportunities, and incentives to invest in the Egyptian market were presented. The long-standing relations between Greece and Egypt were highlighted with special emphasis on the bilateral trade between the two countries.
Dr. Mary Papaschinopoulou had the opportunity to meet Mr. Hossam Heiba, the keynote speaker of the event and President of the Egyptian General Authority for Investment and Free Zones. Against the backdrop of MARDIPLO’s expertise in the maritime sector and Blue Diplomacy, the two of them discussed Egypt’s trade flows, the necessity for an efficient maritime transport, port infrastructures and the current situation in the Suez Canal.
