MARDIPLO ATTENDS THE LAUNCH of the Greek edition of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China

Greek Edition of  “Xi Jinping: The Governance of China”

On 18 November 2025, MARDIPLO was honoured to attend the launch of the Greek edition of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China at the Zappeion Megaron in Athens. The event was co-organized by the State Council Information Office of China, the China International Communications Group (CICG), the Chinese Embassy in Greece, and the publishing houses Foreign Languages Press and Papazisis.

The event brought together representatives from both countries, including Ioannis Tragakis, Chairman of the Greece–China Friendship Group in the Hellenic Parliament; former Foreign Minister George Katrougalos; and shipowner Giorgos Prokopiou. From the Chinese side, speakers included Xie Gang, Vice President of CICG, and Chinese Ambassador to Greece Fang Qiu.

Attendees reflected on how the book captures President’s Xi’s vision, shaped by China’s evolving intellectual tradition—drawing on Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, and later reform-era contributions—to form a model of socialism with Chinese characteristics, rounded in long-term planning, pragmatic reform, and people-centred development for the benefit of the country and the world.

MARDIPLO was honoured to participate in this meaningful event. We will continue to integrate a deeper understanding of China’s intellectual tradition and development path into the resolution of commercial maritime disputes through corporate diplomacy.
