MARDIPLO MEETING WITH CHARGE D'AFFAIRES OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM

On the 3rd of October, Dr. Mary Papaschinopoulou, Founding Partner and Director of MARDIPLO SA, had the honour to pay a courtesy visit to Mrs. Bich Thuy PHAM, Chargé d’Affaires of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to the Hellenic Republic, at the esteemed premises of the Embassy in Athens.

Viet Nam is a nation with a rich heritage rooted in centuries of maritime trade, its strategically located coastline playing a vital role in the country’s economic development. Indeed, Vietnam’s thriving economy is increasingly driven by trade flows, boosted by the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement and efforts to make maritime transport and port infrastructure more efficient.

The discussion highlighted the diplomatic and economic ties between Viet Nam and Greece, particularly in the maritime sector. It also touched on MARDIPLO’s innovative approach to maritime dispute resolution and our commitment to knowledge sharing through the “Blue Corporate Diplomacy Training Programme”, a tailor-made course for the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV).

We are very pleased to have had a fruitful discussion with the Honourable Ms Bich Thuy PHAM and look forward to exploring ways to strengthen cooperation in the maritime sector.
