On June 2, Dr. Mary Papaschinopoulou had the honour of meeting with H.E. Mr. Rudrendra Tandon, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Greece, at the Embassy’s premises in Athens.
The discussion emphasised India’s strategic importance as a key player in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly with regard to global trade, regional stability, and sustainable ocean governance.
In this context, they explored how MARDIPLO’s innovative approach of Maritime Corporate Diplomacy is addressing protracted commercial disputes in today’s highly disruptive geopolitical environment.
Another notable point of discussion was the potential for collaboration between the Greek and Indian maritime sectors, with particular emphasis on shipping, seafarer training and shipbreaking.
Finally, MARDIPLO presented its Blue Diplomacy Training Programme, which has been developed especially for diplomats and government officials.
