Ambassador Opunimi Akinkugbe received on a courtesy visit, Senator Leonidas Raptakis, Rhode Island State Senator USA and President of the World Hellenic Inter-Parliamentary Association (PADEE-WHIA), and Dr. Mary Papaschinopoulou, Founding Partner of MAR-DIPLO a maritime corporate diplomacy company, who has also been for many years the Representative to the EU of the German Business Association for Africa.
During the meeting, discussions centered on various collaborative opportunities in the maritime business sector, given Nigeria’s significant oil and gas exports and market, as well as Greece’s expertise as a seafaring nation.
